With Food Photography the philosophy is to keep the Images as clean and real. Lucky a mix of creative skill, years of previous Chef experience and Photography knowledge allows us to avoid extensive editing in first place. We use simple, basic techniques to make the final product look as if it wasn't manipulated at all.

JDPiX has included Basic Post Production process in Our Packages to deliver the content that really makes an impact. Preparing this files will correct; color, brightness, contrast, sharpening and other basic exposure settings.

We also offer Advanced Fine Retouching on selected Images upon request.

The Picture above serves as example of how photographers can implement the following techniques in day-to-day workflow. First picture is the original, kind of flat looking, lack in contrast, GOOD LOOKING burger. Ill have to say I spend lot more time in styling this bad boy. The initial picture could be exposed correctly in fist place, however said that I deliberately did a poor job to show the difference. Second image is corrected with Basic exposure settings, spot healing and example of using more Advanced techniques.
